Integral management
UMI is the company in charge of the comprehensive management of aeronautical substructures. Created in 2006 together with Inespasa for the “Door mechanisms of the Airbus A330, A340 and A340-600” program, the firm comes to satisfy Meupe’s desire to control the entire manufacturing process, from the purchase of raw materials to the delivery of sets to the client and their subsequent assembly.
Materials and structures
UMI manages the planning and supply of raw materials, the manufacturing of the tools necessary for the production of each type of part and the assembly of the structure so that it can be installed by the client in a higher structure. In 2015 it incorporated final processes to finish integrating the entire manufacturing cycle.
Efficiency
The organization provides unique solutions in an aeronautical market that requires greater responsibility in the development of work packages to Tier-Ones. By unifying the capabilities between Inespasa and Meupe, a high level of reliability, efficiency and versatility is guaranteed.
